If short chapters work for you, do that. It is not length, but the quality is important. Many of the famous novels in the past were short too. It is when we adapt these stories into other formats that they may grow to unfathomable proportions, but only if they are great and well received. Keep writing short, with passion.

I don't have any time or opportunities to watch live broadcasts, or even the recordings (I was surprised to discover that elder care is more work than child care!), but I read the transcript and did a quick little five dip through different sections of the video.

You have a lovely voice! If I could, I would love to listen more. The woods you are walking through is beautiful, too. I *AM* a country gal and don't mind snakes and dogs and other critters, but mosquitoes drive me mad - you were very brave and persistent to complete your video, I would have been like "Hi, bye, see ya!" and run off for the calamine lotion if I'd been there. Though I think you're brave to ust to be making these videos, I never ever could.

I 100% agree about "The Hobbit," it's my all time favorite novel, too. My nickname in college (many, many moons ago) was Hobbit because I'm short and hate wearing shoes.

Anyway, I have to get back to work. In addition to the normal stuff, I promised my father-in-law raspberries with dinner and I need to go pick them. The plants are right at the edge of our property, but so are the mosquitoes, so wish me luck! Take care and keep writing! I love your imagination!

I understand, I too don’t have the time to watch the livestreams, and I mostly watch short videos, often without the sound on, I just read the transcript. Because - kids.😅

I hope the mosquities kindly let you pick the raspberries!☺️

The mosquitoes were surprisingly well behaved, but I had to evict three tricks when I came in!
