This is everything I didn't know I needed to read tonight....and then there was "what the fuck is this and how can it have 2k subs" and I almost spit out my tea.
Actually, this is a nice piece of writing. It humorously points out that we as people want attention or think that we’re the only ones that see problems that need to be shouted out. And you did something the few do. You didn’t call for the cancelation of others but you did requested, in rather a nice way, that we look in that mirror and examine our motivations. I’ve thought about writing here but wondered if I’m just going to be in a long line of, well, wannabes or whiners. I’d just hate that. If we’re not going to do some good or make people laugh til their guts hurt, what’s the point?
You never know how your writing makes people feel, until you actually share it here! So, go ahead! Maybe you’ll become someone’s favourite Substack writer!

The words, dammit! They’re always the point. Tim, I say just write … obviously, light a candle first and go gently with yourself 😉
Write whatever comes to mind and there’ll be an audience, for sure. Or write a comment on someone else’s stuff … which you just did and we’re all drawn to comment back. Just write, right! Also, have fun.

Got an email of a new subscription and checked their @ to make sure I use the right name in a Thank you Note, and I was blocked!
