Oh wow, this is amazing and I love it! Because of all the rhyming, I ended up reading it in a kind of desperate frenzy, which only added to the suspense I felt throughout the whole thing.
I started off feeling so sorry for her and because of your beautiful language and all of the poetic prose, I was convinced that this was going to be a really sad story, almost like some sort of tragic ballad. I almost jumped for joy when I realised that she was actually a man-eating beast! Go Mae!
Dude is a freakin' rockstar. Australian doing an American Southern accent? 🎖
He’s gold, I tell ya’! I was just amazed, literally listening with my jaw dropped!👑
This definitely took an unexpected turn, but in a good way!
This was delightful!
Thank you 🩶

...one doth want to be like her, from time to time(I mean the transformation)
thank you for sharing the ballad
This was great! Love the ideas and the voice.
Hey, I like it! Mae just eats the wicked, so it's okay. 😉 A wonderful story, wonderfully written!
Is this what Daryl Hall and John Oates meant when they sang "Maneater"?
