Snakeling plots must take after the serpents which are their lineage. This story coils and twists as their bodies do! It's amazing that you were able to work so much complexity into this situation in such a short time. I've often run into the issue of shorter stories with winding plots like these feeling rushed, which often leaves the plot itself either feeling shallow or overly complex. That's not the case here at all. Every element works wonderfully here, each one playing off the others in a multilayered contest of wills. Best of all, the characters still remain the driving forces in this story, with the plot servicing them instead of the other way around, thus helping the entire situation feel more genuine. Wonderful work!

Thank you!🩶 I’m sharing part 2 next week, but it’s a bit... ehem... spicy. I hope I won’t scare off people with it. And if I have more time someday, I had planned it to be a trilogy of novellas, with the last on tying togehter with The Last Daughter of Wolves. Sounds wacky, but at some point (in my head) they can be intertwined.

I have no issues with the spice, so you can trust that at least one person shan't be frightened away by that. I am curious, though, how it would tie in to Last Daughter. Makes me wonder if we might be seeing early glimpses of a certain evil queen? Hmmmmmm....

Thank you.🩶 Nooo, Gema is naughty, and she will cross some... ehem lines, but she’s not a villain.

True. Villainy is more Aurora's thing ;)

Oh, she’s one piece of work, isn’t she?! If Morten is my favourite villain, Aurora is my least favourite.

She is, but in a way that I love to hate. I really want her to get comeuppance, so here's hoping that happens!

The plot thickens! Now, I want to know what happens next.

Okay. I'm impressed. A proposal spurned, a curse evoked, a reputation ruined, and it could be for naught. A man's desire, a woman's heart, Tenderest love is fully fraught. But will true love win, or shall it be lost? Will it be a heart-beating love for a baser cost?

Oh, what treachery. It is true, that desire is a double edged sword. Best to be done with it altogether, I say. A life of renunciation it is for me, then 😁 😉

Slowly getting around to these TT posts... thanks again for your hard work in curating them.

I can easily imagine everything here. Love a good map, too <3

Yes, I was afraid this will get a bit confusing, because most of my fantasy stories are happening in the same world, but in different times... But you can consider One Hundred refusals as a stand-alone. Its tone is different than the very dark Daughter’s. (I have to confess, I didn’t tag you in the One Hundred refusal’s note, because... I didn’t think you’ll like it. I thought you’ll hate it, because it’s very... um... cheezy? I didn’t want to force you to read it. Yes, I was a bit ashamed.☺️)

Wow! This is amazing, like a fairy tale for adults, but way more complicated. I hope you plan to post the rest of it!
